Programme Objective

M.A. Fashion Design is a postgraduate Fashion Designing course. Fashion design is the art of the application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing and accessories. Fashion design is influenced by cultural and social latitudes, and has varied over time and place. The course will enable you to apply advanced theory and practice to your chosen specialisations. As a student, you'll explore original conceptual design principles and methodologies in response to global fashion needs. This will enable students to create, develop and manage their portfolio and present a finished product, collection or prototypes which demonstrate research and technical design prowess.

Examination Fee : Examination Fees per annum 2000/-
Registration Fee : Registration Fees one time 200/-
Prospectus Fee : Prospectus one time 1000/-
Minimum Duration :2 years
Maximum Duration : 4 years
Minimum Counselling : It is based on credits and one credit amounts to 10 hours counselling and hand-on experience at DESC.
